BTI
provides medical professionals with a unique avenue for
developing functional and commercially viable prototypes of
innovative concepts. BTI strives to partner with the
medical community, with the clear focus of advancing the
field of medicine and assisting its professionals in this
endeavour.
The History Of
BTI
Biomedical Technology Innovations (BTI) was
formed in 1990 in San Antonio, Texas, to provide consulting
services in the area of instrumentation for laparoscopic
surgery. Through this work BTI was actively involved in the
improvement of several laparoscopic instruments. Most
recently BTI has become incorporated by Benjamin Johnston
BE BMedSc (Hons), and Pierre Vancaillie BE BMedSc (Hons)
and has expanded from specifically working with
laparoscopic instruments to providing services to
facilitate the development of medical devices, across a
wide range of fields.
